A couple of weeks ago our very own VECTOR( Vintage Electromechanical Conservancy of Technology, Operation, and Restoration) committee went to the Texas Pinball Festival where numerous members won awards for their work.
We had 2 best of show awards. Rodney Black’s Mortal Kombat arcade machine won Best Arcade Machine and Nicholas Schell and Nick Sainz won Best 70s EM for the restoration and alternative paint job of Snow Derby. Shawn Christian won a Second Place ribbon for Time Warp and Nick Dangerous won a Second Place ribbon for Freedom.
Paul Wilson found out that he was a minor celebrity for his work on the Polynesian/Tiki re-theme of a Student Prince as many event goers where searching him out all event long after seeing some of the posts he has made about the machine.
The VECTOR members were barraged with questions of restoration techniques, custom build plans and design ideas. The weekend was a very successful event!

Thank you for checking us out, Rasheen. Posting this inquiry on our TALK forum is probably the best way to reach out to Rodney.
