March. As we transition from the slumber (as if that ever happens at Dallas Makerspace!) of Winter to the awakening of Spring, our members have continued to produce the most amazing things! From chopping herbs with a farrier’s file, to helping children experience the world with an AMAZING fabric/softbook filled with fantastic details, to 3D printing smooth toy bricks on our new Form2 SLA resin printer, we have got it. Browse through the March 2017 Member Show and Tell thread on the Talk forum for more information.

1) When would be the next 3D printing class? I am waiting to join the Makerspace for 3D printing of prosthetic hand.
2) I am also interested to know more about availability of equipment to convert high 8 cassettes and old VHS family videos to digital format.

Hi Sunil!
1) keep an eye on the calendar at https://dallasmakerspace.org/calendar for upcoming events and classes. We have had members working on prosthetics at Dallas Makerspace before.
2) Join us on Talk at https://talk.dallasmakerspace.org for discussions about specific interest, such as converting analog audio to digital formats. I’m sure we have some folks in the Digital Media committee with similar interests.
Thank you!
