A contingent of hackers from OHM Space, a new hacker collective in Oklahoma City, recently visited Dallas Makerspace. Pictured above are Dylan Mackey (foreground) and Jason Freis (background) examining some hardware printed on our Makerbot. OHM Space is still in the formative stages. They wanted to check out a neighorboring hackerspace, ask questions, and share ideas. We spent a lot of time showing them around and talking about the challenges we faced starting up the first hackerspace in Dallas. If you’re near Oklahoma city, check out OHM Space! They’re looking for people who are interested in becoming members and getting involved in the creation of a new hackerspace. In addition to their website, you can find them on twitter, facebook, IRC, and Google Groups.
