The idea of grilling may not work if people are coming and going at random times throughout the day. Might be better to plan it along the lines of a typical art gallery opening. Several drink options (soft drinks, red wine, white wine) and a lot of finger foods (cheeses, crackers, cookies, veggies). That said, if somebody wants to grill stuff, I'll be first in line to eat it. -- Steevithak 10:46, 16 November 2010 (CST)

Video

  • Objective: A video on the creation of the makerspace running in the front room. 5-10 minute repeating loop.
  • Team Leader Alan H
  • Needs: We're going to need a TV, or projector and speakers somewhere to playback the loop. Or we play it back on a laptop. But I think a bigger screen would be better as it would allow more people to watch it at a time. I'm thinking this should go in the little alcove in the front.
