Our latest visiting hacker is Nate Bezanson, a founding member of i3 Detroit and early HacDC conspirator. That’s Nate on the right talking to our own Peter Smith in the above photo. During November, Nate stopped by Dallas Makerspace while in town on business. Members took the opportunity to ask lots of questions about i3 Detroit’s space and we were able to offer some robotics advice on a Roomba project. We were working on new flyers for our space the night he came and he helped round up links to other hackerspace flyers. Things were a bit crazy that week as we were getting ready for our first annual Open House during his visit. We didn’t get to spend as much time with him as with previous visitors but it’s always very cool to meet interesting, creative people. Members of other hackerspaces, makerspaces, and hacklabs have a standing invitation to come by and visit us when in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.
