• previous DFW civic hackathons have been vague on licensing requirements, we need emphasize the need for FSF-compliant licensing on code produced, and free software is to be used to implement projects.
• ChallengePost is a website used to host online challenges related to hackathons. Investigate to see if it's something we could use (may be easier/better to do ourselves).
• Need hosting for internal use and public facing projects.

  • Amazon EC2 offers limited free hosting, contact about donating to project
  • Dreamhost offers free basic hosting to non-profits, suitable for our internal use
