Makerspace Agenda/Meeting

• Makerspace business (15 min)
  • hand out flyers to those @ the meeting - please pass them out or put them up!
  • budget:
    • current funds: $5160 of $6000
    • current members: 23
    • subscribing members: 14
  • dues: sign up on the website for recurring donations -> Thanks to everyone that has signed up so far!
    • $370 for May (10 people)

  • What You Can Do:
    • call the owners of buildings you see to find out the monthly rate, lease terms, and square footage!
    • flyers
      • post them!
      • refresh the postings!
    • tell your friends and coworkers
    • drop a note on any relevant mailing lists, forums, or news groups you're on

  • need to sign lease, extinguisher, elect, inet
  • move-in date is July 1st
• 1918
• fundraiser was good
• one thing we dont have is the positive cash flow if you are signed up please turn on the recurring payments

• getting items for the space
  • some stored at probotics
  • some at peoples' homes
  • need to do any work prior?
  • suggest we don't worry about it until the 1st meeting there
  • they will clean the carpets

  • there's already a gigantic walk-in closet behind the main area; would make a great dark room, etc, it might have to go away.
  • front offices are all air-conditioned
  • the warehouse is not
  • we'll need to get some fans
