Jewelry Studio Committee Meeting May 11th, 2021.

Attendance:

Welcome and Thank Yous: Erick for helping with casting class and picking up some nitro
Change to previous minutes to update the date of this meeting from 5/4 to 5/11
Vote for Chair: Johnny
Johnny proclaims TV and small saw is his property and mistaken as DMS property.
Volunteer needs: Hang lights, clean up old flask
Current committee finances: On track with budget, $176 cash collected from box
Misc: Ball vise was too big, returning to order correct. Investment, mixing bowl on order, bench block
Need to buy: 3D printer up to $500 Mars. Unanimous agreement to purchase LCD resin printer for jewelry.
Lapidary update: Need to limit rock sizes
Consider Bench scope, pitch pot, laser welder, rolling mill
Classes/teachers discussion: Nadira, Caireen teaching rolling mill and Sue teaching Hydroflux. Erick will teach a bezel class.
Out of Order/safety issues: Fix casting pump electrical whip
