New member welcome.
Committee member recognition: 25 classes taught in June; Our budget is $9285.42
PR ideas: make and take on tour nights, we have permission to print our own business cards, host events at other locations to draw non members, participate in gem/jewelry shows, etc.
Expansion and Lapidary Update: Waiting on electric phase II; our space is taped off and lapidary is taped off but not sure where yet. New lapidary saw is in J/SM now and an 8" saw has been donated by Lortone as well. Classes and trainings are coming asap.
Volunteer/Tool Needs: Enamel kiln will be taken to Connor by Johnny on Saturday for repair/replacement of bad part.
Honorarium Update: We voted that all 101 trainings will be done voluntarily in order to save on honorariums.
We meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month, next meeting is August 13th, 7 to 8 pm, see the calendar for details.
