How to make QR Codes linking to useful stuff

I used QR Code Monkey and a GIF of the DMS Logo.

STEP 1: Where are we linking?

Identify the page you would like to link to. In this example, I'll link to the Laser go/no-go materials list:

https://dallasmakerspace.org/wiki/Laser_Cutter_Materials

STEP 2: Branding for DMS

You'll also need a GIF/JPG of the DMS Logo (as seen in the upper left of this page). You can find one here: https://www.dallasmakerspace.org/wiki/File:DMS_Logo.PNG

STEP 3: Creating the QR Code

Visit https://www.qrcode-monkey.com/

Enter the Destination URL in the ENTER CONTENT section.

Enter the DMS Logo image in the ADD LOGO IMAGE section

Click on Create QR Code. This will update the image.

STEP 4: Save the Image

Click on Download PNG to save the image locally.

STEP 5: From Image to Label

I used Avery 5162 labels (14 per sheet). Avery has Word Templates which you can download to match their various label sizes.

Visit https://www.avery.com and download the relevant template.

In each Word cell, use the Insert Picture option to pull in the QR Code you generated.

I then scaled the image to fit the logo.

Next, I selected the image on the page and used the Page Layout/Position to position as: "Top Left with Square Edge Wrapping"

I then Inserted text to the right of the QR Code, scaled the font size, and chose right Justification.

STEP 6: Lather, Rinse, Repeat

Once one label was done, I copy/pasted the image and text into the other cells of the label sheet, until I had enough copies of the desired QR Code. Multiple different QR Codes could be formatted on one sheet, and there is no need to FILL the sheet.

It may be necessary to repeat the image and text positioning/formatting in each cell.
