Laser Committee Meeting Sept 8, 2019

Computers Ready

  • All parts are in-software installed
  • Replacing everything but monitors
  • Today replacing Blitzen and Zing
    • Will replace Donner and Big Thunder later

Rotary Parts

  • $300 setup - hopefully won’t need to be replaced

Fusion Pricing

  • $30,000
  • Not reasonable until we move

Classes

  • Still short on classes
  • We need more
  • Zing class next week
  • Thunder Basics
  • Rotary Repaired -Classes about Rotary
  • Lightburn class -requested
  • Maybe sit in on Tommy’s 101 class

Old Computers to Digital Media

  • Digital Media helped set up our new computers, our old computers are only ones that can run adobe license
  • DigitalMedia ok with Desigining for Laser/any machines at the space w/ Adobe
    • Vote: Yes-Unanimous

Cermark 6000 holds up to transportation, other versions do not
