Current Plan

The Board of Directors have authorized up to $1,000 for the electrical build out. Our current plan includes adding 3x 20A 110V, 3x 30A 220V and 1x 50A 220V circuits to the warehouse.

Phase 1: Panel Upgrade

Before any other work can be performed, the main electrical panel needs to be replaced. We have contracted with a master electrician who will be replacing our current panel with a new single phase 200A Square D (QO style) panel. This work will require power to be turned off for 2 to 4 hours, likely during the day.

The panel has already been purchased and is awaiting installation, which is planned for Thursday, May 10th.

Phase 2: Additional Warehouse Circuits

In no particular order, the following circuits will be installed:

  • 2x 20A 110V circuits along the west wall, similar to the setup on the east wall
  • 1x 20A 110V circuit overhead, running east to west, roughly in line with the bay door (for retractable extension cords)
  • 1x 30A 220V circuit for the cabinet saw, along the north wall on the woodworking side
  • 1x 30A 220V circuit for future use, also along the north wall on the woodworking side
  • 1x 30A 220V circuit for the kiln, along the north wall on the metalworking side
  • 1x 50A 220V circuit for the welder and electric cars, along the west wall

Additional Phases

Additional steps to take have not yet been determined.
