Designing for CNC

Being a complete newbie (and a bit of an idiot, some say) I struggle greatly with "ground up" getting something out of my head and into a format I can use with a CNC machine (be it a 3d printer, wood router, metal mill, plasma cutter, lathe, whatever). So I wanted to put together some of the tutorials that have been shared (usually on TALK) during my tenure at the 'Space, making it easier (I hope) to get back to working on this. I also hope that by sharing it here, we can build upon our knowledge for any newer newbies who follow along and struggle like I do...
