2020 Patrick Thompson Statement of Intent

This letter is to serve as formal notification that I, Patrick Thompson, am officially submitting my name to run for election to the Board of Directors for the Dallas Makerspace for the year 2020. My goals for 2020 include:

Help the space have more of a public presence in the community
To help keep expansion on course and continue to see forward progress
To be a part of the space in a capacity so that the operations and processes of Dallas Makerspace continue to improve and become more efficient
To help Dallas Makerspace grow in membership and overall size
To monitor, implement, and deploy techniques to ensure our best financial status so that Dallas Makerspace may continue to strive

As part of this Letter of Intent, I also agree to the duties and functions expected of me in this position that include, but are not limited to: Making every effort to attend the annual meeting(s) and regular meetings. Perform the duties and responsibilities of Director as outlined in the Dallas Makerspace Bylaws as well as the Dallas Makerspace Rules and Policies. If the general membership chooses to elect me to help lead Dallas Makerspace. I will do so without biases and will give everyone the opportunity to present ideas that they believe will help improve the overall quality of the space. I agree to the terms and conditions set forth above.
