• Education and PR now report to President w/ coordinators rather than Chairs

    • Looking for Committee Chairs and Do'ers
    • Trying to get classes on the calendar on a regular basis
    • Looking to improve Infra automation around education
    • Trying to find a home for orphaned SIGs
    • Looking to increase online training to supplement classes

Expansion

Completed Contracts

• Men's restroom Ste 102 restoration ($857)
• Electrical work in flex area; 47 outlets ($11,300)
• Machine shop cable trays installed by DMS volunteers ($1150)
• Power cords fabricated by DMS volunteers for 102 flex area, ~$20 @ $105/ea, still need ~5 more made

Pending Quotes

• New concrete for wheelchair accessibility
• Replace water heater, add plumbing for Science, Warehouse sinks
• Air handler for kilns
• Air handler and ductwork for blacksmithing and electrical room/amateur radio

Creative Arts

• Moving along post-expansion
• Potluck went well, good fellowship
• Member potluck planned for November
• Wide format printer still has issues - Paul has given it his best but is unable to remedy; Rich Meyer has offered to help

Electronics Robotics

• E-lab + SIGs scheduling elections...
• Shawn is not interested in being vice-chair
• Please attend meetings and election - committee desires more member involvement

Hackerspace

• Election 10/30
• Hackerspace interest areas

Jewelry/Small Metals

• Working w/ Expansion on electrical needs
• New kilns planned in the near future

• Compressed air to be installed pre-move

• New chair election Monday
• Judy retiring as Chair
